How
to use the Boating Group's
"Sites Website" |
|
We have decided to go 'on-line' to enable the list to be kept up to date. The sites are listed in the same order as the "Big Sites" Book and gives information specifically relevant to Boating Group activities. You will need to check the "BSB" for site information. Additional sites not in "BSB" have the suffix 00 The sites are listed alphabetically in the index. Identify the page number required, use the navigation bar to find the required page, then scroll down to the site you want. Included are over 80 new sites which appear in the 2005/6 'Big Sites Book' which look interesting from a boating angle. If you have any further information on any of these sites, please let us know so we can update them. You can use the "Feedback Button" on the navigation bar to contact us. If you know of any other suitable sites for sailing, small powered craft or canoes, please let us know and we can add them to this list. We prefer sites either with launching from them or within 2-300 yards, with the possibility of leaving the boat with out de-masting. We have tried to include as much information as possible but it is up to the individual member to make up their own mind whether the water is suitable for their craft and ability, also its safety if left unattended. We hope you enjoy activities with the Boating Group look forward
to meeting you on sites in the future. |
